MemoryVerse is a scripture memorization app. It helps users choose passages, practice recall, review memorized verses, and track practice statistics.
MemoryVerse does not require an account. The app stores selected passages, memorization progress, review lists, practice statistics, theme preference, and last-used Bible translation locally on your device.
Typed practice text is used to compare your recall with the selected verse. MemoryVerse stores word-level practice statistics, such as missing or added words, but it does not store your full typed response as a separate document.
MemoryVerse does not intentionally collect names, email addresses, contacts, precise location, payment information, or other personal information.
MemoryVerse does not sell personal information.
Bundled Bible texts are limited to public-domain or public-domain-intended translations: King James Version, Douay-Rheims 1899, World English Bible, and World English Bible Catholic Edition.
ESV and NIV are not bundled with the app. If enabled, they are retrieved through configured third-party Bible services or APIs. When an API-backed translation is used, the selected Bible reference may be sent to the configured Bible text provider so the app can retrieve the passage. That provider may receive ordinary network information such as your IP address according to its own policies.
MemoryVerse does not share locally stored memorization progress or practice statistics with the developer or with third parties.
MemoryVerse is designed for general scripture memorization. It does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
